About Us

Message from Principal, Mrs. Kim Delaney

Welcome to St. Mary Cathedral School! We invite you to learn about our school where teachers, support staff, parents and the community work together to educate the whole child – spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially. Christ is at the center of all we do. Students learn to treat each other with respect, to be responsible, and to be safe as we do our best every day to follow the example of Jesus in our lives.  Parent commitment is a valued part of our educational process as we work together to provide a positive, nurturing, student-centered environment.  Our team works to ensure that we are helping our children learn the skills to become leaders for tomorrow in our faith, our community, and our world. We provide a strong academic and faith foundation that will help each student meet their full potential and find success.

Kim Delaney

Students learn the academic and social skills necessary to become independent, responsible, life-long learners with a strong faith in God. We are a state accredited school, and as such we teach the standards required by the state of Indiana and we work to provide enrichment beyond those core standards.  Students learn to fully participate in their faith by helping to prepare and lead the weekly Liturgies and daily prayers. They participate in Adoration, Reconciliation, special prayer services, and learn to help others through acts of charity and service.  We are fortunate to have involved priests in our parish who visit the classroom weekly to teach and to provide an opportunity for our students to ask questions as they learn about our Catholic traditions. At St. Mary, we understand the importance of a well-rounded education. Our students participate in Physical Education and Music classes twice weekly, and Art, Guidance, and Technology classes are offered each week. Extra-curricular offerings include Scouts, Chess Club, Bricks4Kidz, KidzArt, and basketball. There is something for everyone!

Thank you for your interest in our school. Please feel free to visit our campus anytime. We look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you may have.

Blessings,

Mrs. Kim Delaney, Principal
