Central Catholic’s Drama Department would like to invite you to its fall drama production The Radium Girls by DW Gregory. During the height of the 1920s radium craze, the young women of the U.S. Radium Corporation became mysteriously ill. As their jaws and joints begin to deteriorate, these young women hold their employer accountable for their illnesses.
Based on a true story, this moving and compelling play shares the stories of these girls and their influence on employee safety. This is a serious drama that could be scary for younger students.
Show times are Thursday and Saturday, November 8 and 10th at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, November 11th at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $8 for Adults and $5 for Students (K-8). Tickets will be available at the door. Tickets are also available to purchase online through Wed., Nov. 7th here: Online Tickets.
