Thank you to all of our wonderful students who read at Masses this weekend and helped carry up the gifts! You represented our school beautifully, and we are so proud of each and every one of you! Thanks also to the generous parents who gave of their time to help with the Open House on Sunday. We had a nice turnout, and your help is greatly appreciated! It’s been a fabulous start to Catholic School Week! We have many fun activities planned for this special week! To find a detailed list of events, please click on the following link: St. Mary CSW 2017 Letter to parents Many thanks to all who sent in pennies today for our “Change for Change” service project! Here are a few important reminders:
- Tuesday (1/31) is Pajama Day! Students will bring nickels for “Change for Change”.
- Wednesday (2/1) you will bring your child to Central Catholic. Mrs. Delaney will be at the front door to greet the children beginning at 7:30, and will help direct them to the cafeteria to meet their teachers. Students will ride the bus back to St. Mary at lunchtime. All students are asked to bring canned food for the local Food Pantry. All are welcome to join the LCSS students and staff for Mass in the Central Catholic gym at 9:00.
- Thursday (2/2) is Vocation Day! Students may dress as their favorite vocation and bring dimes for “Change for Change.
- Friday (2/3) is Teacher & Staff Appreciation Day! Students will bring quarters for our “Change for Change”. This is also a day where we need the help of every family! Please take a few minutes to send in a note letting your child’s teacher know how much you appreciate the work they do for our children. These notes will go to Mrs. Goodman and Mrs. Kuhn who are planning this special day. You may see more details and an example by clicking on the following link: Teacher Appreciation Letters It does not cost anything, but means the world to some very dedicated and hard-working teachers! Thank you in advance for helping us to make our teachers feel extra-special!
