There will be NO PTO meeting this Wednesday (8/24). Due to a conflict with Central Catholic’s Open House, the St. Mary/St. Boniface PTO meeting and St. Boniface Open House is postponed. We will inform you of the new date soon.
Please be sure to send a cloth dishtowel to school every day with your child. This is very helpful in keeping the spills controlled and the tables protected. It is a good idea to keep one in the backpack so it is always at school!
All students must have a pair of shoes to keep at school for P.E. class. If this is a problem, please inform the office and we will be glad to help. The shoes may be any color and do not need to be part of the uniform code. This helps to protect the floor and keeps the children safe as they learn new skills. Thank you.
Please be sure to register your MARSH card to benefit St. Mary Cathedral School! This is one easy way to help us provide needed materials. Another easy way to help our schools is to collect all Box Tops from your items at home and send them to school with your child. We are able to purchase many needed supplies and materials for our students with these! Be sure to ask family members and friends to help, too!
Many thanks to the two dads who have volunteered to come and help install the white boards in the classrooms this Saturday (8/27) from 8:00 – 12:00 at St. Mary Cathedral School! We are VERY grateful to you! We need at least 5 to 7 helpers in order to complete this big job. Please consider offering a hand. Jeff Botteron, our Director of Learning Design and Technology, is working hard to get the whiteboards installed so that the teachers have full function of the new interactive projectors in their classrooms, and so every child is able to see the lessons clearly. It is a big job, and we would be very thankful your help! Please let us know if you have any questions or are able to assist. Thank you!
