A “thumbs-up” for St. Mary Cathedral School! All of the students contributed by adding their thumb or finger print to the cross on a 16×20 canvas that is framed and ready to hang in your home! This will be available at the Blue Knight Auction. Many thanks for Jennifer Alter for providing the supplies, and to Mrs. Spann for creating the masterpiece with our students in Friday’s Art classes!
The Blue Knight Auction will be held this Saturday (4/29) at Central Catholic. This is a wonderful event that helps all of our schools! We depend on volunteers to help. Please consider giving of your time to help our schools. Thank you!
The Third Graders will be completing the final portion of the ISTEP+ Part 2 this week. Please be sure students are well rested, have a good breakfast, and bring a healthy snack! We know they will do a great job if they do their best!
One of our favorite days of the year is “Grandparents’ Day”! This year we will honor our special guests on Friday (5/5) with a Mass, a program, an opportunity for pictures, and a visit to school. We love having these wonderful, positive, loving people visit us at school! All forms detailing your family plans for lunch that day are due this Thursday (4/27). We must hear from every family so we know if your child is eating lunch at school, or if they have your permission to go out to lunch with Grandparents. Please be sure to turn this in right away! Thank you.
Our all school Mass is on Thursday (4/27) this week. Mrs. Skiba’s second graders are preparing and leading us in our celebration. Please remember that all students wear the official uniform with the white shirt. Thank you!
Please remember that there is NO SCHOOL on Friday (4/28). We look forward to seeing everyone bright and early on Monday (5/1)! Students may wear shorts beginning in May. Enjoy!
