St. Mary Weekly Update – Important

St. Mary Weekly Update – Important

All permission slips for our Columbian Park Field Trip are due tomorrow, Tuesday (5/2/17). The cost is $4 per student.

All permission slips and book orders (optional) for the Kindergarten and First Grade Author visit to the Tippecanoe Public Library are also due tomorrow, Tuesday (5/2/17).

It is very important to be sure to check your hot lunch menus at home each day! Children forgetting their lunches may be offered a granola bar and fruit, but we do not often have extra hot lunches for those who did not order. Thank you for helping us to make sure all children have a good, healthy lunch every day!

Please come to the last PTO meeting of the school year! It will be held in the Bishop Higi room at St. Mary on Tuesday (5/2/17) at 7:00 p.m. This room is downstairs and can be entered through the doors on the lower parking lot. Come and meet the new officers! We are very grateful to our wonderful present officers for all of their work over the past two years!

Our Grandparents’ Day (or Special Person Day) is this Friday (5/5/17) beginning with our all school Mass at 8:15 a.m. Students may come to school with their Grandparents and sit with them at Mass if they like. Then Grandparents will be invited to the Bishop’s Memorial Hall after Mass for refreshments and a program put on by the students. After the program, Grandparents may visit the school, see the classrooms, and will have an opportunity to have their pictures taken with their grandchildren in the gym. If we have a permission slip allowing Grandparents to take their grandchildren out to lunch, they may leave after visiting the school and return grandchildren to school by 12:15. Grandparents may pick up their Grandchildren at St. Boniface at 11:00.

Please keep our St. Mary second graders in your prayers as they celebrate their First Communion! Children receiving their First Communion at St. Mary will receive this Sunday (5/7/17) at 2:00 p.m.

Please remember there is no school on Monday, May 8th.
